To achieve zero landfill and become a hub for electronic waste (E-waste) management, we aim to minimize environmental impact by promoting responsible disposal methods.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Addressing e-waste management has become a significant issue, requiring collaboration among diverse partners, including large corporations, logistics providers, government agencies, and financial institutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The key aspect is that participants not only receive rewards but also benefit from green measures, such as a CO2 score, through the ‘E-waste+’ application.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As part of this initiative, the Thai DENSO Group,which includes eight plants,is encouraging employees to participate. We have launched a project that allows employees to drop off their e-waste at designated collection points through our CSR community program. There are four categories available for e-waste disposal:<\/span><\/p>

  1. Phones and tablets<\/span><\/li>
  2. Accessories<\/span><\/li>
  3. Computers<\/span><\/li>
  4. Other electronic devices<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    After creating an account in the application, you can start by registering your e-waste. Next, pack all your devices and drop them in the recycling bin. A tracking system will monitor your e-waste from registration to the recycling facility. Participants are eligible for rewards through a lucky draw, will receive a CO2 score, and can view their historical records in the summary.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    Last year, the Thai DENSO Group received engagement and positive feedback from employees. We collected 392.5 e-waste items, weighing 63.07 kg, which equaled to a carbon score of 92.6 kg CO2. The top 3 common types of e-waste were chargers, keyboards, and computer mice. This was an important first step in promoting the culture of environmental awareness and <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
