Greenhouse gas emissions come from several sources, such as burning fossil fuels for energy (electricity\/transport), human activities (manufacturing\/building), landfills, agriculture, and others. GHGs include Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous oxide (N2O) as well as HFCs and SF6. However, the gas with the greatest impact on global warming per unit mass is SF6 <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

We convert these emissions into carbon dioxide-equivalents (Co2e) for target setting, as part of global warming strategies in GHG reports.<\/span><\/p>

In Thailand, we have emitted approximately 452 million tons of GHG per year on average over the past 10 years, with over 70% coming from the energy sector.<\/span><\/p>

1.) 1 pint of beer: 665g CO2<\/span><\/p>

2.) 1 glass of wine: 300g CO2<\/span><\/p>

3.) 1 plastic bag: 33g CO2<\/span><\/p>

4.) 1 plastic bottle: 83g CO2<\/span><\/p>

5.) 20 mins of a hot shower: 200g CO2<\/span><\/p>

6.) 8 hrs of air conditioning: 5.6 kg CO2<\/span><\/p>

Actual emissions may vary based on CO2 emission factors, electricity consumption, your activity, and others<\/span><\/p>
